Within my home is a small studio. It once held a full size bed with a corner table and a table light on the stand for guests to read and relax a while.

It is inside this room that have held many people that had once stayed with us throughout the years. Missionaries, families, extended family, friends and now this very room is the room I occupy in to create.

When creating, music will often flow from this area as I began shaping and creating.

On the other side of the room are many people I have grown fond of….. My books! Authors that have inspired me in the most beautiful way, taught me and encouraged me lessons when I most needed some understanding and wisdom on a particular subject.

This wisdom I have learned from creating and is carried out onto my creative process of working with the variety of clays as well as my writing.

It’s where I can think, ponder and develop new work. It’s small but it’s a beautiful space that I dwell in.
